DJC A5: Depending on the nature of the case, I inquire about the likelihood of the filing of summary judgment motion(s) and/or trial. I also indicate that I will return to these topics at the status conference (typically held after the close of fact discovery) if the parties don't yet have a sense of these matters at the initial scheduling conference.
